• Operation Blue Skies yields more enforcement (hendersondispatch.com) — Police ramped up “Operation Blue Skies” across all four wards of Henderson and Vance County on April 17, making multiple felony arrests and seizing guns and drugs. Officers report seven firearms and several types of narcotics confiscated, along with dozens of citations, as part of an ongoing push to improve neighborhood safety and quality of life.
   

• Henderson-Vance Chamber Co-Hosts NC Dept. of Labor for Safety Awards (wizs.com) — Henderson just hosted the N.C. Department of Labor commissioner, who recognized local governments and employers in Vance and Granville counties for outstanding workplace safety, including multiple Henderson facilities.
