A family friend has launched a GoFundMe as the community rallies around the relatives and highlights the need for rip current awareness along the Holden Beach shoreline.

Authorities say 20-year-old Dylan Roberts died while trying to save his father, Daniel, prompting an outpouring of support and an online fundraiser to help their grieving family.
