Cold Snap In Huntersville, Snow Still A Possibility This Weekend
Temperatures will start dropping Thursday as wintery weather — including the possibility of snow — is expected by midday Saturday.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — The temperature will continue to drop heading into the weekend as a front is expected to bring wintery weather to the Charlotte-metro and Lake Norman area by Saturday morning, forecasters say.
Wednesday, the high is expected to reach nearly 50 degrees, however temperatures will drop to a high of just above 40 degrees Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
“A low pressure system will bring precipitation to the area late Friday night through Sunday. Temperatures may be cold enough for the precipitation to fall as snow or a wintry mix. However, there is quite a bit of uncertainty with this system regarding timing, location of wintry precipitation, and precipitation amounts,” NWS said in a weather bulletin Wednesday morning.
