Huntersville Fire To Demonstrate New Ladder Truck This Weekend

Huntersville public safety agencies, from fire and police to Medic and SWAT, will be on hand this weekend at this community event.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — If you’ve been curious about Huntersville Fire’s new Tower-Ladder 1 truck or have wanted to see what the inside of a fire station looks like, this weekend you’ll have an opportunity to check both out. The fire department, along with other town public safety agencies, will be on hand for demonstrations Saturday, Oct. 26 for Public Safety Day.

Members of the fire department will demonstrate the capabilities of their new vehicle, as well as conduct tours of the fire station.

Members of Huntersville Police Department, Medic and SWAT will also be participating in the community event, Huntersville Fire said.

The event, which runs from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., will be held at Huntersville Fire Station #4 at 8826 McIllwaine Road in Huntersville.
