Huntersville Trick-Or-Treating Hours For Halloween 2019

Here's the time Huntersville police recommend wrapping up trick-or-treating this year, plus their tips for a fun night.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — October is here, and Halloween is just a few short weeks away. This year, Halloween falls on a Thursday, so get on your costumes and get ready for some trick-or-treating. In Huntersville, police recommend wrapping up trick-or-treating by 9 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 31.

For a safe trick-or-treating night, Huntersville Police Department also recommends:

  • Check your children’s candy before they eat it.
  • Avoid homemade treats from strangers.
  • Make sure your child’s costume is properly sized so they don’t trip over it.
  • Be sure to carry a flashlight or wear reflective clothing.
  • Accompany young children.
  • Stay on the sidewalk/path and walk together.

The Town of Davidson is hosting its annual Halloween March for kids on Friday, Oct. 25.The costume parade and merchant trick-or-treating begins at 5 p.m. at Town Hall on Main Street, proceeding to Depot Street. Marchers may start lining up at 4:45 p.m., say event organizers.
