Huntersville Weather: Rain Turns Into Thunderstorms This Weekend

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — It looks like this weekend in Charlotte metro area could come with puddles, with a chance of rain Saturday and thunderstorms likely by Sunday.

Friday will be partly sunny with a high of 76, according to forecasters. Saturday’s high will be similar, though there is a 30 percent chance of rain.

By Sunday, however, rain becomes more of a given with a 60 percent chance, with thunderstorms possible before 10 p.m.

The soggy conditions could continue through next week, though temperatures are expected to cool significantly, with highs of 60.

A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 63. South wind 6 to 10 mph.
Sunday (Feb. 25)
Showers likely, with thunderstorms also possible after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 74. Southwest wind 10 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
