NC Weather Forecast: When Will Huntersville See The Sun Again?
There's no way to sugar coat it. It looks like a wet and cloudy weekend.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — It’s another day of rain and gloomy clouds in the piedmont of North Carolina, as the region braces for potential flash flooding and a potentially soggy weekend.
Slow creeping showers and thunderstorms could create hazardous conditions Thursday ranging from high winds to flash flooding, National Weather Service forecasters warned.
“Numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected to redevelop over the area later today,” NWS said in a hazardous weather outlook bulletin. “Slow-moving and training storms may produce torrential downpours over a short period of time, resulting in localized flash flooding. In addition to the heavy rain potential, cloud-to-ground lightning and gusty winds will be possible with stronger storms. Gusty winds could blow down a few trees due to very wet or saturated soils.”

The threat of rain and thunderstorms continue throughout the weekend and into early next week. The rain soaked forecast has one silver lining, however. The temperatures should stay below 80 degrees for most of the weekend.
