Suspect With ‘Weird Teeth’ Wanted In Purse Theft: HPD

Police are searching for suspects behind the theft of a mother's purse from a car parked outside Huntersville daycare Wednesday.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying suspects they say are wanted in connection to a Wednesday morning purse theft from a vehicle parked outside a Huntersville daycare.

According to Huntersville Police Department, a woman’s purse was stolen from her vehicle while she was dropping off her child at the La Petite Academy.

This is the second purse theft from a vehicle outside a Huntersville daycare in as many weeks.

“The suspect was described only as a black male with a mustache/beard and "weird teeth,’” HPD said Thursday.

Police are also circulating a photo of a woman who used the victim’s stolen bank cards at Harris Teeter in the Rosedale Shopping Center, as well as the suspect’s vehicle. Police believe that vehicle may be a black Nissan Altima.
