Valentines Day Forecast: Warm And Rainy In Huntersville
The day of love will likely feel more like a muggy harbinger of spring, with temperatures expected to reach 60.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC -- Winter will seem like a distant memory this week as the Charlotte-metro region enjoys a harbinger of spring with plenty of warm and wet temperatures. Skies will likely stay gray this week, however, as there’s a chance of rain every day in the forecast through the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
Highs this week will be in the mid-60s, will temperatures topping out around 72 on Thursday.
An umbrella might be a good pairing to go with a box of chocolates for your loved one Wednesday. The cloudy forecast extends to Valentine’s Day, which will likely have a high around 60 and a 40 percent chance of rain that evening, according to NWS.

Today (Feb. 12)
Showers likely, mainly before 10am. Cloudy, with a high near 65. Southwest wind 5 to 9 mph becoming northeast in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Tonight
A chance of showers before 8pm, then a chance of rain between 8pm and 2am, then a chance of rain or drizzle after 2am. Cloudy, with a low around 41. Northeast wind 11 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Tuesday (Feb. 13)
A chance of rain or drizzle before 8am, then a chance of rain after 1pm. Cloudy, with a high near 43. Northeast wind 6 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
