• Bridging recovery: Lansing driveway repair group nears final chapter, fortifies legacy (ashepostandtimes.com) — Lansing residents still dealing with Hurricane Helene’s damage are losing a key local ally, as the volunteer-run nonprofit Lansing’s Bridge to Recovery prepares to wind down after repairing more than 125 driveways and private bridges. Founders Emily and Leeth Davis say remaining funds will finish a few final access projects, then be passed to another nonprofit, even as many locals still cannot easily reach their homes.
