• Laurinburg bowling alley temporarily closes due to minor fire (wpde.com) — Laurinburg Lanes on Atkinson Street is temporarily closed after a small fire Tuesday morning caused soot damage in the entrance area, but was quickly extinguished by Laurinburg firefighters. The bowling alley expects to be shut for a couple of days for cleanup and repairs, and staff are publicly thanking the Laurinburg Fire Department for preventing more serious damage.
