• More than 160K pounds of meat with false USDA labels recalled (nsjonline.com) — A Lucama-based processor, Star Meat Delivery, is recalling more than 167,000 pounds of raw pork, beef, and goat after federal inspectors said the meat carried falsified USDA inspection labels and may be unsafe. Products went through a Georgia distributor to stores and restaurants nationwide, and residents are urged to discard or return any affected meat rather than risk contamination.
