ā¢ Robeson County Reinstates RV Park Ordinance by Removing Sunset Clause (moderncampground.com) ā Robeson County commissioners meeting in downtown Lumberton have permanently reinstated the RV park ordinance by removing its sunset clause, restoring clear rules for any new campground or RV resort proposals. They also updated the regional hazard mitigation plan, discussed security cameras for a Parkton park, and reappointed a Robeson Community College trustee. The boardās next meeting is set for 9 a.m. on August 3.

ā¢ Shots fired at home of Commissioner Stephens (robesonian.com) ā Shots were fired early Sunday at the Littlefield-area home of Robeson County Commissioner Wixie Stephens, just east of Lumberton, and sheriffās investigators are still working the case. No injuries were reported, and deputies are asking nearby residents to share any security video from around that time. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Robeson County Sheriffās Office.
