MOORESVILLE, NC — From the farmers’ market to bluegrass and Spinners baseball, there are plenty of fun events happening around Mooresville this weekend. If you're looking for something to do, Patch has you covered.

Mooresville’s rainy weather of late will likely continue into the weekend. Rain continues in the forecast through the weekend, and humid highs of near 90 degrees. There’s a 30 percent chance of afternoon showers Saturday and Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

Here are five events to check out in Mooresville:

  • Farmers Market at Liberty Park — Saturdays, 8 a.m. — noon. Liberty Park, 225 E. Iredell Avenue, Mooresville.
  • Mooresville Spinners Baseball — The Spinners take on the Morganton Aggies Saturday, June 2, 7 p.m.; and Mooresville Post 66 on Sunday, June 3 at 7 p.m. Moor Park, 691 S. Broad Street, Mooresville.
  • Car & Bike Show — RE Suspension is hosting and food trucks will be on the scene. Saturday, June 2, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. RE Suspension, Inc. 201 Rolling Hill Road, Mooresville.
  • Southern Express Bluegrass Band — Say organizers: “Come hear The Southern Express Bluegrass Band. It is family friendly free event.” Saturday, June 2, 7 p.m. Shearer Presbyterian Church, 684 Presbyterian Road, Mooresville.
  • Mooresville Ghost Tours — In this hour-long tour you'll hear the spooky lore of a drowned town, lake monster, a haunted library and more. Tours leave the Charles Mack Citizen Center meeting point every hour on the hour from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday evenings. Reservations are required. 704-698-7286.
