Christmas Tree Lighting, Irish Fest: This Weekend In Mooresville
The sun will be out this weekend in Mooresville, perfect for a fishing tournament, Christmas tree lighting festivities and Irish music.

MOORESVILLE, NC — From a fishing tournament on Lake Norman with a $3,000 purse to Irish music and the annual lighting of the Christmas tree at Langtree, there are plenty of fun events happening around Mooresville this weekend. If you're looking for something to do, Patch has you covered.
After days of cold, soaking rain, the sun is out and skies are clear, setting up the Lake Norman region for a beautiful fall weekend. Temperatures are set to warm on Saturday and Sunday with highs near 60 for both days. Overnight lows will hover between the high 30s and low 40s. You can read more about the weekend forecast here.

- Christmas Tree Lighting At Langtree — Saturday, Nov. 17, 5 p.m. - 8 p.m., 120 Langtree Village Drive, Mooresville.
- Mark McCowan Bass Fishing Tournament — Saturday, Nov. 17, 5 a.m. - 5 p.m., Queens Landing Marina Lake Norman, 1459 River Highway, Mooresville.
- Mooresville Community Food Truck Festival — Saturday, Nov. 17, 11 a.m. — 3 p.m., 575 Brawley School Road, Mooresville.
- Community Canned Food Drive — Saturday, Nov. 17, 9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m., Mooresville Soup Kitchen, 275 South Broad Street, Mooresville.
- Irish Fest — Saturday, 1 p.m., King Canary Brewing Company, 562 Williamson Road, Mooresville.
