CMT Postpones Premiere of 'Racing Wives' NASCAR Reality Show
The reality show focused on Lake Norman and NASCAR was originally supposed to air Jan. 3, but has not yet been scheduled by the network.

MOORESVILLE, NC — A new reality show focused on NASCAR and the mega mansions housing some of the sport's top drivers and their families dotting Lake Norman has missed its January premiere date.
“Racing Wives,” which has been billed as the dramatic behind-the-scenes look at the women of NASCAR, was originally supposed to debut on the CMT network Jan. 3 at 9 p.m. A spokesperson for CMT told Patch this week, however, there were no new updates on when the series would air.
Samantha Busch, wife of Cup Champion Kyle Busch, took to social media last week to address the delay, saying, “Details regarding a future premiere date are TBD. As soon as I know more, I will be sure to update all of you who continue to support all my endeavors!”

A stone's throw away from the high-octane race tracks where legends rise and sometimes fall, "Racing Wives" offers a rare glimpse inside the opulent, eye-popping mansions and private planes that regally decorate the banks of Lake Norman, North Carolina. The cast features sisters-in-law Ashley and Samantha Busch, married to Kurt and Kyle Busch, who are each balancing family life with their own ambitions. Looking to take her rightful spot in the wives' club is Whitney Ward Dillon, former cheerleader and now wife of a driver who is torn between fitting in with her fellow wives while staying true to her best friend and cheerleader ride-or-die, Mariel Lane. Also featured is Amber Balcaen, an aspiring race car driver who is new to the racing community and left everything, including her boyfriend, back home in Canada to come to North Carolina to pursue her dream.
Programming Alert: Racing Wives won’t premiere this evening. Details regarding a future premiere date are TBD. As soon as I know more, I will be sure to update all of you who continue to support all my endeavors! Looking forward to a lot of exciting things in 2019!
