• Troutman, Mooresville firefighters respond to overturned tanker on Houston Road (Photos) (iredellfreenews.com) — Mooresville Fire-Rescue's hazmat team assisted Troutman crews Monday after a tanker truck overturned and leaked fuel and a plastic-softening chemical on Houston Road near Narroway Lane. Firefighters contained the spill, pumped out the tanks, and had the scene under control by mid-morning, preventing further environmental or traffic impacts.
