MOORESVILLE, NC — After asking for the public’s help, community tips have led to the identification of a woman who Iredell County Sheriff’s Office says is a person of interest connected to two recent residential burglaries in Mooresville.
“While going through all of the information which was being shared and passed forward the female was identified as Victoria Jaye Kistler,” Sheriff Darren Campbell said in a statement Friday. “Victoria is currently frequenting the Charlotte area and could be as far south as Pineville. The first of the two break-ins reported Dec. 12 occurred in a home off Brookridge Drive, where suspects entered the home through a kitchen window after breaking a window lock with an unknown tool, according to a Dec. 19 ICSO report.
"The suspect(s) went through each room emptying all the drawers and cabinets," and the only thing reported stolen was a jewelry box containing numerous pieces of jewelry, the sheriff's office said.

A witness in the area told deputies that they saw a blue, two-door Saturn driving in the neighborhood at a high rate of speed, and that a woman was behind the wheel.
About an hour later, thee second break in was reported approximately an hour later near Crystal Circle and Wood Duck Loop. As in the earlier break-in, the suspect used a tool to gain entry into the home, this time by prying the basement door open, the sheriff's office said. In this incident, a jewelry box and gun were reported stolen.
"A witness in the area noticed a blue Saturn, similar to the one seen in the area of Brookridge Drive," the ICSO report said. "The witness managed to take pictures of the suspects, and the vehicle."
In the photos, a woman is seen in the driver's seat as a male is seen walking around the vehicle talking to her.
“Detectives with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office are working and exchanging information with Mecklenburg County, and Cabarrus County where similar type break-ins have occurred,” Campbell said.
The Iredell County Sheriff's Office is asking that anyone who knows these individuals, or has any information about these cases, please call Detective Clodfelter at 704-878-3180.
