Drive-Thru Mooresville Back To School Bash Set For July: Details

MOORESVILLE, NC — Students in Mooresville Graded Schools will soon have opportunity to receive free shoes, school supplies, backpacks, gently used clothing and more during the upcoming annual Back To School Bash event.

The four-day event is set to take place July 14 through July 17 at Mooresville Middle School, located at 233 Kistler Farm Road in Mooresville from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. each night.

This year, the event will be drive-thru, and is expected to host about 1,200 students say organizers.

"Students can receive prepackaged backpacks (with school supplies), dinners to-go (if they would like), a new pair of shoes, and gently used clothing (if they would like). In order to enter our clothing tent, attendees MUST exit their vehicle with a mask on," organizers said.
