At The Prickly Pear, an inspector deducted points from the restaurant's score for seven violations after finding “encrusted grease deposits on several pans,” and dirty non-food-contact areas of the kitchen, such as ceiling tiles and hood vents. Employees were also seen going in and out of the kitchen’s backdoor and performing different tasks “without washing hands.”
