MOORESVILLE, NC — Early voting for North Carolina’s 2018 Primary Election is Drawing to a close this weekend in preparation for election day Tuesday, May 8. Confused about where to go to cast your ballot, or even who’s on it? Patch has you covered.

Friday, May 4

  • Early voting at Mooresville polling sites will take place through Friday, May 4, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Saturday, May 5

  • Some of Iredell County’s early voting sites will be open for the final day of early voting on Saturday, May 5. Mooresville’s early voting sites at the War Memorial Building, Peninsula Baptist Church and the Mt. Mourne Fire Department will be open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Tuesday, May 8

  • On election day — Tuesday, May 8 — local voting sites will be open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Iredell County Early Voting Locations

  • Iredell County Board of Elections — 203 Stockton Street, Statesville
  • Statesville Fitness & Activity Center — 1875 Simonton Road, Statesville
  • War Memorial Building — 220 N. Maple Street, Mooresville
  • Peninsula Baptist Church — 687 Brawley School Road, Mooresville
  • Mt. Mourne Fire Department — 1577 Mecklenburg Hwy., Mooresville
  • Troutman Baptist Church — 305 Perry Road, Troutman
  • Union Grove Fire Department — 1994 W. Memorial Hwy., Union Grove

Election results will be posted on the NC State Board of Elections’ Iredell website beginning at 7:30 p.m on May 8.

Registered Republicans and Democrats will have opportunity to vote for their party's candidates and voters registered as Unaffiliated may vote in the partisan primary by requesting a ballot of one of the parties.
