Iredell Teacher Charged With Statutory Rape Of Child Quits Job
Iredell County teacher Christina Jolly has resigned, according to a report. She has been charged with statutory rape of a boy she fostered.

IREDELL COUNTY, NC — An Iredell County middle school teacher arrested and charged this summer with multiple counts of statutory rape and statutory sex offenses of a 15-year-old boy she was fostering has resigned from her job, according to reports.
The news comes after she was arrested again on Dec. 27 after authorities learned she emailed the child, which was in direct violation of her bond, WSOC said.
Christina Davis Jolly, 43, of Statesville was arrested in August for the sex crimes of the child for whom she was guardian, the Statesville Record & Landmark reported. At the time, she was a teacher a North Iredell Middle School. The charges stem from alleged incidents that occurred in her home during last year.
