• The Longest Table event plants seeds of unity in Mooresville (Photo Gallery) (iredellfreenews.com) — Mooresville residents packed Mooresville High School on Sunday for The Longest Table, where more than 1,000 guests and 250 volunteers shared a meal focused on unity and connection. With food provided by Iredell Health System and strong support from Mooresville Graded School District leaders, neighbors enjoyed activities, music, and conversations aimed at building a more welcoming, tightly knit community.
   

• Troutman Council again delays decision on acceptance of Falls Cove streets (iredellfreenews.com) — Troutman leaders are delaying acceptance of some Falls Cove streets while pressing developer D.R. Horton to fix a problematic intersection and drainage issues, but they did authorize applications for major water and sewer funding. That funding would support a new wastewater connection to Mooresville and expanded transmission lines, improvements that could shape future growth and utility reliability for both communities along the I-77 corridor.
   

• ICSO Felony Arrests: September 18-24 (iredellfreenews.com) — Iredell County Sheriff's deputies reported several recent felony arrests, including multiple suspects listing Mooresville addresses. Charges range from felonious restraint and conspiracy to felony stalking and drug offenses, giving Mooresville residents a clear snapshot of serious criminal activity investigated in and around the community between September 18 and 24.
