MOORESVILLE, NC — Thanksgiving Day is considered a federal holiday, which means government offices, schools and some businesses will take a break for observance.
Mooreville and Iredell County government offices will be closed for Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29.

U.S. Post Office: Closed
State Offices: Closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29

Town of Mooresville Offices: Closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29
Iredell County Offices: Closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29
Schools and Administrative Offices: Closed
Library: The Mooresville Public Library will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27 and will reopen on Monday, Dec. 2 at 9 a.m.
Solid Waste: All Iredell County solid waste facilities will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28
Trash and Recycling Collection: Mooresville's trash and recycling will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29, and will operate on a one-day delay schedule.
Movies: AmStar-14 Mooresville is open
