Tornado Watch Issued For Iredell County
A tornado watch has been issued for the piedmont region of North Carolina, including Iredell County, until 10 p.m.

MOORESVILLE, NC -- A tornado watch has been issued for Iredell County for Friday, Sept. 1, until 10 p.m.
“There is also a lingering heavy rain threat, and isolated flash flooding will be possible in any areas repeatedly affected by thunderstorms,” the National Weather Service said Friday.
The Charlotte region began to feel the remnants of Harvey Thursday evening, ushering in periods of heavy rains and possibly severe storms. Rainy conditions are expected to move out, however, by Labor Day. (Get Patch real-time email alerts for the latest news in Mooresville — or other neighborhoods.
