• Crews searching for missing swimmer at North Topsail Beach (wwaytv3.com) — Emergency crews are continuing a multi-agency search off Beach Access No. 3 after a 24-year-old Laurinburg man disappeared while helping a child in the water at North Topsail Beach. Multiple fire departments, police, and county responders used boats, jet skis, sonar, swimmers, and drones before suspending operations Monday evening due to weather, with the child taken to a hospital for treatment.
