• Johnston County Business Hit By $100,000 Copper Theft (jocoreport.com) — A business near Princeton on Williford Road suffered about $140,000 in losses after thieves stole roughly $100,000 in copper wiring and heavily damaged a Duke Energy electrical box and security equipment. The break‑in happened in the early morning hours of May 26, and Johnston County deputies are still searching for suspects. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Sheriff’s Office.
