Beat The Heat: Solid Waste Collection Time Changes For Summer
To help protect employees from heat-related injuries, Raleigh's Solid Waste Services is temporarily adjusting its schedules.
From the City of Raleigh: To help protect employees from heat-related injuries, Raleigh’s Solid Waste Services is temporarily adjusting its residential solid waste, yard waste and recycling collection schedules to begin earlier.
From Tuesday, July 9, through Tuesday, Sept. 3, crews will begin arriving a half hour before the current 7 a.m. collection time. Residents should place carts at the curb by 6:30 a.m. or the night before their normal pickup day.
