- The impacts of the Stadium Series Game are expected to be significant and long reaching. The event is one of the biggest the city has ever hosted and is expected to generate interest in the city beyond this weekend. - A group of central North Carolina children got the opportunity to participate in a Black inventors workshop on Saturday. The workshop was held at the John Chavis Community Center, and the children got to hear about significant inventions by African Americans.
