USA Fibroid Centers Hosts YouTube Discussion on Fibroid Myth Busting
NORTHBROOK, IL, April 4, 2026 — A common myth shared by countless women who live with the physical and emotional burden of uterine fibroids is that their symptoms will simply fade away with time. To debunk this and other common myths, USA Fibroid Centers is hosting a free "Talk About U" program, "Can Fibroids Shrink On Their Own?" on Thursday, April 9, at 7:00 p.m. EST.
This on-demand session features diverse perspectives, including USA Fibroid Centers’ fibroid expert Dr. Aaron Shiloh and North Carolina based lifestyle content creator Jessica Laurel. Led by host and USA Fibroid Centers’ Ambassador Kym Lee, they will discuss common misconceptions about uterine fibroids and clarify whether these growths can actually disappear without treatment.
In addition to identifying key signs and symptoms, treatment options such as uterine fibroid embolization (UFE) will be explored. A minimally invasive, non-surgical alternative to traditional surgery, UFE is often an unknown and unoffered procedure that removes fibroids while preserving the uterus.
