Queering Our 250th - Viewing the Revolutionary Age through an LGBTQ+ Lens

Megan L. Cherry, our speaker, is an associate professor at North Carolina State University who specializes in seventeenth- and eighteenth-century North American history. This lecture will take a look at several lesser-known Americans from the Revolutionary era to show that sexuality and gender were being contested at the same time as our war for independence.
