Chesterbrook Academy Elementary in Raleigh Celebrates Earth Day

Students decorated flower boxes and planted a variety of flowers in honor of Earth Day

(Chesterbrook Academy Elementary School)

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Elementary School in Raleigh celebrated Earth Day on April 22 with flower planting projects at their school. Each class worked together to decorate flower boxes, and the most creative class received a prize for their creation. Students and their families brought in soil and a variety of flowers to plant in the decorated boxes, and members of the student council carefully planted the flowers in the boxes. The finished flower boxes were placed around the school’s campus. Chesterbrook Academy Elementary School teaches the importance of community and caring for the environment at a young age.
