  1. City Manager proposes a budget for the 2022 year that focuses on helping the community recover and re-establish itself. It emphasizes adjusting the living wage and prioritizing investments to the capital infrastructure. (RaleighNC.gov)
  2. Raleigh Police are searching for a man who has been charged in the death of Sharen White, age 47. Sharen was found near NC State's campus deceased on Tuesday evening. (abc11 and CBS17)
  3. Schmalz Inc. broke ground on its new headquarters on Oak Forest Drive in Raleigh. Schmalz is a rapidly growing leader in vacuum automation products that has tripled in size in the last few years. With its new HQ breaking ground you can expect more jobs to be created upon its completion. (The Mountaineer)
  4. With the recent Colonial Pipeline hack, officials are looking at the state's sole dependence on the Colonial Pipeline to supply fuel to the state and starting to raise concerns about the future implications it might have. (abc11)
  5. Two brothers are seeing justice after being wrongfully convicted for a crime that took place in 1983. The brothers are set to receive $31 million each as compensation after being arrested based on hearsay and coerced convictions. (Patch)
