Fall Festival at Method Community Park

Join us at Method Community Center for a spook-tacular family event! Admission is free to the public and will include arts and crafts, carnival games, music, healthy treat bags, a photo booth and more! No registration required.
Tuesday, October 12, 6 to 8 p.m.
Come join us for an evening of family fun and creativity as we decorate pumpkins and create a fall craft to inspire the most outrageous designs and creations. Pre-registration is required and one parent must accompany the child.

Saturday, Oct. 16, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Celebrate autumn in Raleigh with a market and festival at Dorothea Dix Park! Activities include live music, 100+ local makers & vendors, Triangle-area craft beer & cider on tap, 25+ food trucks, kids zone, free pumpkins, hay rides, and more!

Join us at Millbrook Exchange Park for a morning of pumpkin painting on the patio. Registration is per child and will include a mini pumpkin and a variety of decorative supplies. Come for the crafty fun, and let us clean up the mess! This is an outdoor event. In the event of inclement weather, it will move indoors. Join us as we learn about the fabulous world of fungi! We will begin with a classroom portion all about the anatomy of fungi, their importance in the ecosystem, and some common species that can be found around Walnut Creek. As you are getting sleepy and letting go a of a yawn, many of the wetland's inhabitants are stretching and getting ready for their 'day.' We'll look at which animals are active in the wetland and go for a night hike. What might we see and hear? This is a family program and the fee applies to all participants ages 2 and older.
