City Of Raleigh: Commuters Take Note: 1600 - 1800 Blocks Of Oberlin Road To Close For Four Months

Raleigh Water will conduct a full closure of the 1600 - 1800 Blocks of Oberlin Road in Raleigh NC, between Craig Street and Fairview Road, for a planned water improvement project beginning at 7:00 am on Monday, September 27. Closure is expected to last for four months, though work schedules are subject to change based on weather and other factors. Access for businesses and local traffic will remain open.

          DETOUR:

Motorists approaching these areas should expect traffic delays and are advised to avoid these areas if possible. Motorists approaching this area should be aware of all posted traffic signs, ROAD CLOSURES, traffic cones, and work crews.

Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen conditions.  

This closure is part of the Oberlin Road Waterline Improvement Project.
