City Of Raleigh: Raleigh Police Chief To Be Sworn In

Estella Patterson will be sworn in as the chief of the Raleigh Police Department on Thursday, August 12, beginning at 10 a.m. in Meymandi Hall of the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts located at 2 E. South St.

The insignia of the police chief will be pinned to Chief Patterson's uniform by her husband, Lance Patterson.

The public is invited to attend the event.
