City Of Raleigh: Youth Conservation Corps Seeks Volunteers For Park Clean Ups

Raleigh Parks, in collaboration with Partnership Raleigh, launched its inaugural Youth Conservation Corps this summer. Young people between the ages of 16 and 20 worked to maintain trails, remove invasive plants, and pick up litter at Durant Nature Preserve, Horseshoe Farm, Walnut Creek Wetland Park, and Lake Johnson.

Volunteers are needed to help them complete their projects this summer! A variety of 2-hour volunteer shifts in trail maintenance, invasive plant removal, and litter pick up in our nature preserves are listed below. Sign up online today at the links below!
