Here are the top stories in Raleigh today:

  1. An Oklahoma man was arrested and charged in the sexual assault on NCSU's Dix Campus. On Sunday night, Kenneth Cordell Mosby was charged with second-degree forcible rape according to a news release from N.C. State officials. Mosby was taken to the Wake County Detention Center and is being held on a $75,000 secured bond. (CBS17)
  2. Monday saw flight cancelations across the country, including at RDU. Storms in Florida slowed incoming flights, and Southwest Airlines experienced a technology issue that caused lingering delays. Monday's cancelations were actually down from the more than 3,000 flights canceled nationwide, according to FlightAware. (WRAL)
  3. A Cary church had to cancel its Sunday services, due to a fire. Kirk of Kildaire Presbyterian Church posted photos of fire crews at the scene telling church members to "Please stay home." Officials say that the fire was caused by a squirrel in an area over the portico. (CBS17)
  4. A two-week manhunt for Christian Samuel Felix ended as he was arrested at a home in Rocky Mount. Felix was accused of trying to kidnap and kill his ex-girlfriend outside an urgent care center in Knightdale. He is now being held without bond at the Wake County Detention Center, a court date is scheduled for April 12. (WRAL)
  5. North Carolina will now offer expanded Medicaid access for new mothers. New mothers can receive one year of full Medicaid coverage after delivery as the new state law expanding services took effect on Friday. Until now, women could receive 60 days of post-partum coverage if they qualified. The new expanded services can now be accessed by anyone currently pregnant or who gave birth between February 1 and March 31. (Spectrum News 1)
