Record turnout continues throughout Wake County
More than 480,000 Wake
County voters have already cast their ballots in the 2020 election – a
record-breaking turnout. The Wake County Board of Elections encourages those
who haven’t voted yet to take advantage of the final hours of early in-person
voting. It’s the last chance for residents to register and vote at the
same time.

- Friday, Oct. 30 – 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 31 – 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. (FINAL
DAY!)
“Already more than 60% of our registered voters
have cast ballots thanks to the convenience of early voting and absentee by
mail,” said Gary Sims, director of the Wake County Board of Elections. “You can
vote at any of the 20 early voting locations, regardless of where you
live in the county, which is the big difference from Election Day, when residents
need to go to their assigned precinct.”
