- Glen Warren launched a nonprofit, Fathers Forever, that helps men struggling with fatherhood. The organization offers coaching on anger management, substance abuse, job readiness, and overall personal development. During COVID-19 the group had to change its model of outreach and has now launched a staffing agency known as My Daddy's Work Solution. (CBS17)
- A gas leak closed part of New Hope Road in Raleigh for hours. Officials say that a contractor cut through a line and caused the leak. (CBS17)
- A Raleigh woman was fatally struck by an SUV after stopping to help people involved in a Durham crash early on Sunday. Jasmine Harbison and her boyfriend pulled over to aid people in a flipped Chevrolet when an Equinox struck Harbison. She was pronounced dead at the scene. (abc11)
- North Carolina is facing a legal challenge after passing legislative maps that heavily favor Republicans. An organization formed by Democratic lawyer Marc Elias announced on Friday that a group of voters who challenged the constitutionality of the previous NC maps are now contesting the latest congressional maps. (FOX8)
