- On Tuesday, Democrats stifled Republican efforts to further delay the state's primary, stating that the matter should be left to the state Supreme Court. - The Wake County Democrats group and two school board members are facing backlash after the group posted a controversial cartoon on Twitter. The cartoon depicted parents at a school board meeting as conspiracy theorists, white supremacists, anti-vaccine activists, and January 6 protestors. The cartoon has since been deleted following backlash, but screenshots show two members of the Wake County School board "liked" the tweet, leading Wake County Representative Erin Pare to call for them to denounce the illustration.
