- Two juniors at Athens Drive High School, Alanah Payne and Kavya Sriram, have created a documentary highlighting five Hispanic-owned businesses in the Triangle. - North Carolina judges struck down the state's most recent voter photo identification law on Friday. Judges said that the law passed in December 2018 was rushed and intentionally discriminatory against Black voters. Republicans at the legislature have already expressed intent to appeal the decision. (News-Press Now)
