From my notebook:

  • It's May Day, a broad spectrum celebration of Spring. For me, the start of spring was always signaled when the daffodils reappeared outside our house. It brought me so much joy, and if you want some floral joy today, check out these gardens in Raleigh.
  • Today, the Town of Cary is breaking ground on two Neighborhood Parks with a celebration from 1:00pm-3:00pm.
