USA 250: Celebrations planned locally for July 4 and beyond (rantnc.com) ā€” Sanfordā€™s Red, White, and Blue Bash returns July 4 at Kiwanis Family Park with live music, food trucks, and fireworks starting at 5 p.m. The countyā€™s America 250 committee is also rolling out history programs, tree plantings, theater, and walking tours across Lee County through the fall. Residents can plug into library events, school programs, and downtown activities tied to the nationā€™s 250th birthday.
