• Timothy Scott Bowen (shelbyinfo.com) — A Calabash resident who worshiped at Highest Praise Church in Shallotte has passed away at age 66, leaving a large and loving family across North Carolina. Friends and relatives are invited to a memorial celebration at Calabash Marina on Saturday, July 11, with donations suggested to support the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Project Lifesaver Program.
