• PUBLIC NOTICE Pursuant to An Interlocal Agreement to Merge the (sanfordherald.com) — A regional water-system merger means Chatham County will transfer certain utility properties, including a communications tower site on Siler City Glendon Road in Bear Creek, to the City of Sanford’s TriRiver Water system. Sanford’s City Council plans to formally authorize continued leasing of that site and another Chatham County property at its August 18, 2026 meeting in Sanford.
