Investigators had him under surveillance and say a K9 alerted to drugs in his vehicle before officers seized a box of cocaine from the trunk.

Jury finds Iredell County wrestling coach not guilty in student abuse incident (qcnews.com) — From a Statesville courtroom, a jury has cleared a former Lake Norman High School wrestling coach of misdemeanor assault and child abuse charges tied to an alleged incident with a student. The coach, arrested last November after a reported fight at the Mooresville school, had been suspended from teaching and coaching during the investigation. The not-guilty verdict ends the case but not community interest.
