Iredell Commissioners Approve $72.5 Million in Major County Projects (whky.com) ā€” Statesville-based Iredell commissioners have approved more than $72 million for a major courthouse expansion and fairgrounds upgrades that will shape county services for years. The Hall of Justice project aims to speed criminal case processing, while new fairgrounds facilities will add a farmers market, exhibit hall, and kitchen space starting construction this fall.

City of Statesville to begin wastewater smoke testing July 28, 2026 (statesville.com) ā€” Starting Tuesday, July 28, the City of Statesville will smoke test parts of its wastewater system, which may affect select homes and businesses that receive door hangers.
