• Vanceboro Man Arrested After High-Speed Chase, Carjacking, and Foot Pursuit (wnct.com) — A Vanceboro resident was arrested Tuesday morning after authorities say he led officers on a multi-agency high-speed chase that began near New Bern and involved a carjacking. The pursuit continued into Beaufort County, ending in a crash and foot chase before officers found the suspect in nearby woods. No injuries or charges were detailed yet as this remains a developing case.
