• Franklin launches downtown parking study, asks public for feedback (fox17.com) — Finding a parking spot downtown has city leaders launching the Park Franklin Parking Study and asking residents, workers, and visitors to complete an online survey open through July 10. Feedback will guide a 12-member steering committee and city staff as they analyze parking data, explore solutions, and shape future decisions about access and parking during everyday visits and major events in downtown Franklin.
   

• Cofield appointed to Franklin City School Board (thetidewaternews.com) — Franklin City Council has appointed Ellis Cofield III to fill the at-large seat on the Franklin City School Board, completing an unexpired term through June 2027. Cofield, a former Franklin City Public Schools staffer focused on family and community engagement, says he’s honored and excited to serve the district that helped shape his career and support local students.
