• Duplin, Sampson counties: Multiple shootings under investigation (wnct.com) — Recent shootings into homes in Wallace and nearby Duplin County towns have prompted a large, ongoing multi-agency investigation, including the Wallace Police Department. Officers have executed several search warrants in the Wallace area, seizing guns, ammunition, and electronics. Authorities say more charges are expected and urge anyone with information to contact law enforcement or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
